"Once again Jose Oliva of Feel It And Dance! took the streets of Bakewell by storm at the 12th International Day of Dance. After demonstrating a couple of slick Latin Dances with his students from the Arc Leisure Centre in Matlock he soon had the audience joining in. With his infectious enthusiasm and boundless energy, it was hard to resist. We'll definitely be having him back for the next Bakewell Day of Dance."
Jude Brown, Dance Co-Ordinator for The International Day of Dance, Bakewell
Jose ran workshops at LEVEL (First Movement) in May 2012. Jose facilitated Flamenco Dance and an introduction to Spanish culture to our audiences of adults with learning disabilities, including mild, moderate to more profound and complex needs.
The sessions were inspiring, lively and colourful, sensory, very well planned and executed. Jose catered for the needs of the individuals through differentiation and had the natural ability to creatively adapt on the spot with each individual, whilst maintaining the essence of the Flamenco dance and Spanish theme.
Everybody was inspired, engaged and eager to join in the celebratory Spanish experience.
